The socks were created in collaboration with the Czech sock manufacturer Ferdinand and the artist Kateřina Dobroslava Drahošová.
“We are a generation of nomads and Peter Pans – we always carry our withered roots with us in our socks.”
She is interested in drawing in its “simplest form”, where the main means of expression are line, plane and structure. As a collector of stories, she depicts contemporary themes through abbreviations and hints. The striking delicacy of her drawings represents the artist’s protest against the visual overload of the modern world. Her drawings are, however, full of movement and a dynamic, vibrating energy that contrasts with calm and harmony. Her relationship with nature is important to her. As she herself says: “I always carry dried roots from the Šumava with me.” She grew up in the Šumava and returns there regularly.
These high-quality socks are made from comfortable and breathable cotton, ensuring comfort for everyday wear.
80% cotton provides softness, smoothness and natural breathability, keeping feet dry and comfortable all day long. 15% polyamide increases the socks’ resistance to abrasion and extends their lifespan, so they can withstand even intensive use. 5% elastane ensures shape retention and optimal adaptation of the socks to the shape of the foot, preventing them from slipping down or losing their shape.
The socks are ideal for everyday wear at work, school, during leisure time or on walks. Thanks to the combination of materials, they combine comfort, durability and practicality, making them a reliable part of your wardrobe.
