How conventional deodorants work and why you should look for an alternative
A classic antiperspirant works on a simple principle: aluminium salts physically block the sweat ducts and prevent sweating. The result is visible immediately, which is why so many of us keep coming back to them. But this is precisely where the question arises that more and more women are asking themselves: do I really want to stop the body’s natural function, or do I just want to manage the odour?
Sweating is a natural physiological function of the body that helps regulate body temperature.
