The brand focuses on creating handbags that are comfortable to carry and feature a understated, unobtrusive design, ensuring they remain popular for years to come. Its aim is to capture the essence of a timeless, simple and practical handbag – one that meets the demands of everyday use whilst fulfilling customers’ aesthetic expectations. The handbags are inspired by the shape of the body – they are designed to follow the body’s contours and be as comfortable as possible. A touch of the Japanese concept of Shibusha. Shibusa balances on the fine line between contrasting aesthetic concepts, such as elegance and roughness, or spontaneity and restraint. The seven elements of shibusa are simplicity, subtlety, modesty, naturalness, everydayness, imperfection and silence.
